At 15:15 on Tuesday, 24 July, 2018, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Wellington.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Beaters
• Hosereel jet
• Knapsacks

Firefighting now in progress using 3 full extended hose reel jets used to extinguish
