At 01:32 on Monday, 30 July, 2018, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Market Drayton.

6 fire appliances including the Heavy Pumping Unit and the Water Carrier were mobilised from Bridgnorth, Hodnet, Market Drayton and Prees. Operations and Hazmat officers were in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet
• Main jet
• Thermal imaging camera

One large agricultural building involved in fire 4 main jets in use with water supplied by high volume pumping unit
