At 18:37 on Saturday, 11 August, 2018, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Cheswardine.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Hodnet and Market Drayton.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

Fire in wooded area. Crews requested an additional appliance for personnel and water. One main jet in use
