At 12:35 on Thursday, 16 August, 2018, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as AFA in Vyrnwy Road, Oswestry .

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Oswestry.

The AFA had been actuated by a small fire involving food in a microwave oven. Fire was out on arrival. 1 casualty suffering the slight effects of smoke inhalation led by firefighters to fresh air at the rear of the property.
