At 08:09 on Friday, 17 August, 2018, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Shrewsbury.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Shrewsbury.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Thermal imaging camera

Incident involving tree which had been on fire due to barbeque charcoal in close proximity to the tree. Check made using thermal imaging camera.
