At 13:03 on Sunday, 2 September, 2018, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open.

1 fire appliance including the Incident Support Unit was mobilised from Wellington.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Knapsacks

This incident was a controlled burn which was out on arrival - crews have damped down using knapsack.
