At 02:38 on Wednesday, 5 September, 2018, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Bin Fire in Shrewsbury.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Shrewsbury.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet

Small quantity of rubbish alight in bin. One hose reel jet used to extinguish the fire.
