At 23:26 on Wednesday, 12 September, 2018, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as AFA in Telford.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Telford and Tweedale.

This incident was a false alarm caused by steam from kettle entering smoke detector
