At 21:20 on Monday, 17 September, 2018, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Property Fire in Shrewsbury.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Shrewsbury. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet

Unattended cooking left in kitchen area of a domestic dwelling. Two breathing apparatus and two hose reel jets used.
