Disused quarry, Pant near Oswestry

At 10:23 on Tuesday, 25 September, 2018, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as Animal Rescue in Disused quarry, Pant near Oswestry .

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Oswestry.

Puppy on a ledge in the quarry approx 2-3 metres below hardstanding. Rescued by fire service personnel using short extension ladder and working at height equipment. Puppy returned to the care of the owner.
