At 22:51 on Wednesday, 14 November, 2018, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting that a Road Traffic Collision had taken place.

2 fire appliances including the Rescue Tender were mobilised from Newport and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Land Ambulance Service and the Police.

Crews have attended an incident involving two saloon vehicles. On arrival they were not required to release the casualty.
