At 12:56 on Sunday, 25 November, 2018, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Tweedale and Wellington.

Reports of fire in the open which proved to be a controlled burn which had spread to tree. Crews used one hose reel jet.
