At 16:47 on Tuesday, 15 January, 2019, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Ludlow.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Cleobury Mortimer.

Smoke in the area which was found to be a false alarm caused by occupier burning a small amount of waste in a garden incinerator.
