At 10:02 on Saturday, 26 January, 2019, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as Water Rescue in Bomere Heath.

2 fire appliances including the Water Rescue Unit were mobilised from Baschurch and Shrewsbury. An Operations officer was in attendance.

2 dogs in river. 1 rescued by owner and the other rescued by fire service personnel on the boat.
