At 13:10 on Friday, 15 November, 2019, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting that a Road Traffic Collision had taken place in A53, Astley near Shrewsbury.

4 fire appliances were mobilised from Shrewsbury and Wellington.

RTC involving 1 large goods vehicle and 1 pick up truck. No persons trapped. 3 casualties treated by fire crews awaiting arrival of Ambulance Service. Vehicles made safe by fire service personnel.
