At 09:04 on Wednesday, 29 January, 2020, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Chimney Fire in Wem.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Wem.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Small gear
• Thermal imaging camera

This incident involved a log burner chimney fire which was out prior to the arrival of fire service crews. Inspection carried out using thermal imaging camera and small gear.
