At 23:49 on Tuesday, 14 April, 2020, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Ludlow.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Cleobury Mortimer.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet
• Rakes, shovels, mathooks

Unattended bonfire on disused railway line. Crews extinguishing using one hose reel jet.
