At 00:49 on Saturday, 11 July, 2020, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Property Fire.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Wellington.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet
• Short extension ladder
• Small gear
• Thermal imaging camera

Crews have extinguished wooden sign which was on fire on the side of a commercial premises.
