At 09:42 on Wednesday, 5 August, 2020, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Smoke Issuing in British Telecom, Town Walls, Shrewsbury .

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Shrewsbury.

Report of smoke issuing from lower ground floor of building. On arrival the smoke had dissipated and crews were unable to find the cause although it is thought it may have been cause due to an electrical trip of the equipment.
