At 20:01 on Friday, 14 August, 2020, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Long Mynd, Church Stretton .

1 fire appliance including the Pinzgauer was mobilised from Church Stretton.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Knapsacks
• Shovels/Forks/Brooms

This incident involved an open BBQ which had set fire to heathland. Fire extinguished using knapsack and shovels.
