At 15:48 on Saturday, 15 August, 2020, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Shrewsbury.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet
• Rakes, shovels, mathooks

This incident involved a bale of hay alight in field. Crews extinguished using hosereel jet and rakes in use.
