At 19:29 on Friday, 23 October, 2020, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Skip Fire.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Wellington.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet
• Main jet

Crews have extinguished skip fire containing commercial waste which was well alight.
