At 17:55 on Friday, 6 November, 2020, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Car Fire in Shrewsbury.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Shrewsbury.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Positive Pressure Ventilation
• Small gear

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Police and a utility company.

Car collided with lamp post, car fully involved in fire, one tree also on fire. One casualty in the care of ambulance.
