At 23:47 on Friday, 18 December, 2020, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as House Fire in Newport.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Newport and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet

Fire involviong lounge on ground floor of property, crews using two breathing aparatus and one hose reel jet
