At 14:35 on Wednesday, 6 January, 2021, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Car Fire.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Wellington.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet
• Thermal imaging camera

Fire involving dashboard in car which now has been extinguished by fire crews.
