At 08:08 on Tuesday, 2 February, 2021, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Property Fire Persons Reported in Newport.

3 fire appliances were mobilised from Newport and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Reports of property fire which proved to be a false alarm.
