At 22:19 on Monday, 8 February, 2021, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in A458 near Betton Abbots, Cross Houses, Shrewsbury .

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Shrewsbury.

Quad bike completely destroyed by fire. 1 hose reel jet used to extinguish fire. Thermal imaging camera used to check for hot spots.
