At 15:51 on Tuesday, 9 February, 2021, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Property Fire in Oakengates.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Newport and Tweedale. An Operations officer was in attendance.

This incident was a false alarm caused by controlled burning
