At 14:37 on Thursday, 15 April, 2021, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Telford.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Shrewsbury.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Beaters
• Hosereel jet

1000 metres of grass and scrubland on fire, caused by embers from bonfire, two hose reel jets and beaters in use
