At 13:50 on Saturday, 5 June, 2021, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Wem.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Wem.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet
• Thermal imaging camera

This incident involved 10 metres of hedgerow and fencing fulling alight. crews extinguished using hosereel jets.
