At 16:53 on Sunday, 20 June, 2021, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Bridgnorth.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Bridgnorth and Much Wenlock. An Operations officer was in attendance.

This incident involved a controlled burn of approximately 18 seats of fire over 200 square metres consisting of woodland brash and tree cuttings. A responsible person was on site to monitor the controlled burn.
