At 13:16 on Sunday, 18 July, 2021, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Shrewsbury .

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet
• Thermal imaging camera

Fire involving approximately 4 metres of hedgerow. Crews using one hose reel jet to extinguish.
