At 12:43 on Wednesday, 25 August, 2021, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Bridgnorth.

2 fire appliances including the Incident Support Unit were mobilised from Bridgnorth and Tweedale.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Beaters
• Knapsacks

Fire in field of stubble approx 20m x 300m. Crews extinguished using knapsack, beaters and fogging unit.
