At 07:09 on Saturday, 28 August, 2021, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Smoke Issuing in Hadley.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Wellington.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Thermal imaging camera

Reports of a washing machine smoking which was removed from the property. Thermal image camera used to check for any hotspots.
