At 18:29 on Friday, 3 September, 2021, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Shrewsbury.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

Incident involved a small amount of garden waste placed within drain set and ignited by a discarded cigarette. Crews extinguished using 1 hose reel jet.
