At 11:15 on Friday, 22 November, 2019, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting that a Road Traffic Collision had taken place in Newport.

2 fire appliances including the Rescue Tender were mobilised from Newport and Wellington.

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Land Ambulance Service and the Police.

RTC involving 1 paedestrian casualty trapped under a van. Casualty was released without the need for specialist equipment.
