This event is for Fire and Rescue Service personnel only

At the recent Operational Assessment of Service Delivery Workshops held in London and Manchester, Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service offered to host a seminar on Retained Duty System issues if there was sufficient interest from the floor.

The offer was duly accepted and we are now pleased to be able to inform you that we will be hosting the event on the 12th July at RAF Cosford, Nr Albrighton Shropshire. www.rafmuseum.org.uk

The venue is outstanding, as well as modern lecture theatre room facilities (disguised as a bunker!) and a spacious catering area there is a fantastic free museum for delegates to view during their lunch break, we may struggle to get you back!

The aim of the seminar is to allow delegates to hear more from the practitioners about the many and varied solutions that Brigades have introduced to deal with the issues facing the Retained Service. There will also be an opportunity to obtain feedback on the recent IPDS questionnaire that was circulated to Brigades, and the RDS outcomes following the Ops Assurance process.
