Reports of 3 children in the river - all 3 exited river prior to arrival of Fire Service.

At 20:03 on Friday, 10 August, 2018, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as Water Rescue in Shropshire.

4 fire appliances including the Water Rescue Unit were mobilised from Baschurch, Shrewsbury and Wem. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Land Ambulance Service and the Police.

Crews were called to reports of an 18 year old female who was believed to have gone in the river and had not been seen for some time. This incident turned out to be a false alarm caused by concerned friends. The girl was found safe and well nearby

4 fire appliances were mobilised from Shrewsbury, Telford Central and Wellington.

Report of persons in the river in Ironbridge, on arrival the incident was found to be a false alarm with no persons in difficulty.
