This report, attached marked 7, proposes a process for the Brigade Managers Employment Panel (the Panel) to recruit a new Assistant Chief Fire Officer (ACFO) following approval to implement a new Executive structure by Shropshire and Wrekin Fire and Rescue Authority on 5 December 2024. The Authority also approved the recruitment of a Section 151 (s151) Officer at its meeting held on 25 June 2025, and therefore this report seeks approval to commence recruitment for both roles. The report also provides an opportunity to review and amend the job descriptions for these roles. |
