At 09:13 on Sunday, 23 March, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Property Fire in Shrewsbury.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Shrewsbury. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Thermal imaging camera

Small fire involving gas oven which was out of arrival. Crews carried out thorough investigation using thermal imaging camera.
