At 15:17 on Tuesday, 8 April, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as HGV Fire in Shrewsbury.

3 fire appliances were mobilised from Shrewsbury, Wem and Whitchurch. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Attending crews used the following equipment:

Fire involving one tractor 100% damaged by fire. Muck spreader also attached which was 50% damaged by fire. Crews used 2 breathing apparatus and 1 hose reel jet to extinguish.
