At 11:25 on Sunday, 1 June, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Ellesmere and Oswestry.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet

Fire involving 10 x 10m of waste extinguished by fire service.
