At 17:47 on Wednesday, 2 July, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Bewdley .

3 fire appliances including the Incident Support Unit were mobilised from Bridgnorth and Cleobury Mortimer.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Beaters
• Knapsacks

Three individual fires consisting of gorse and brash. Fire Service personnel used beaters and knapsacks to extinguish the fires.
