At 12:26 on Thursday, 10 July, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Farm Fire in Much wenlock.

3 fire appliances were mobilised from Bridgnorth, Craven Arms and Much Wenlock.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet
• Thermal imaging camera

Field fire approximately 20m x 5m, crews used 1 hosereel jet to dampen down the area.
