At 22:03 on Saturday, 12 July, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Bridgnorth.

2 fire appliances including the Incident Command Unit and the Incident Support Unit were mobilised from Bridgnorth and Cleobury Mortimer.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet

This incident consisted of approximately 1 acre of grass and undergrowth on fire, crews used 2 hosereel jets to extinguish.
