At 15:59 on Sunday, 13 July, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Oswestry.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet

This incident involved a garden bonfire out of control, which had spread to surrounding hedges. Crews extinguished using one hose reel jet. Assistance provided by Mid and West Wales appliance.
