At 13:44 on Sunday, 17 August, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Car Fire in Cound .

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Much Wenlock.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet

This incident involved one car fully involved in fire and one set of electric gates 20% burned by fire along with 3 metres of hedgerow. Crews used two breathing apparatus and two hosereel jets.
