At 19:05 on Tuesday, 21 October, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Car Fire in Gobowen.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Oswestry.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet
• Thermal imaging camera

One car fully involved in fire. Crews used breathing apparatus, two hosereel jets and one thermal imaging camera in use.
