At 10:23 on Thursday, 4 February, 2016, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as Animal Rescue in Whitchurch .

3 fire appliances including the Rescue Tender were mobilised from Prees and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Also at the scene of the incident were: a vet.

1 horse with leg trapped in fence - owner and vet in attendance. No action by Fire Service required.
