At 19:05 on Friday, 8 April, 2016, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Rtc Persons Trapped in Shrewsbury.

4 fire appliances were mobilised from Hodnet, Wellington and Wem. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Air Ambulance, the Land Ambulance Service and the Police.

Incident involving 2 tractors, One male casualty released prior to fire service arrival, and taken to hospital via Air Ambulance.
